Dr. Shyue-Liang Wang 


Leon Shyue-Liang Wang received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1984. Since then, he has been teaching in University of New Haven, New York Institute of Technology in the United States of America, as well as I-Shou University and National University of Kaohsiung in Taiwan. He had served as Chairman of Information Management Department, Director of Computing Center, and Director of Library in I-Shou University and Chairman of Information Management Department, Dean of College of Management in National University of Kaohsiung. In summer 2000, he was visiting professor in Mechatronics Lab in the Mechanical Engineering Department of University of Melbourne, Australia. He is currently professor of Information Management.

Dr. Wang has published more than 200 technical papers in the areas of privacy-preserving data mining, information security investment modeling, machine learning, expert systems, and fuzzy databases, etc. Dr. Wang is a member of IEEE, Chinese Fuzzy System Association Taiwan, Chinese Computer Association, and Chinese Information Management Association. He is one of recipients of 2011 – 2014, 2014 – 2017 Flexible Wage Award from Ministry of Education in Taiwan, President of Taiwanese Association for Social Networks, and a Fellow of The Institute of Engineering and Technology in UK.
